A single varietal Trepat, a grape indigenous to southern Catalonia, Agustí Torelló Mata Rosat Trepat is an organic rosé Cava.
The Trepat variety is being increasingly used in the Cava production, because it is capable of producing wines with a low alcohol content, combined with freshness and elegance.
Traditionally vinified, after the completion of both alcoholic and secondary fermentations this Spanish sparkling wine was aged for a minimum of 24 months in the cellar.
As with all of Agustí Torelló Mata's wines, the disgorging date of Agustí Torelló Mata Rosat Trepat 2016 is printed on the back label.

The rosé cava Agustí Torelló Mata Rosat Trepat has a bright rosy colour with some violet tinges.
Juicy notes of wild berries and strawberries, alongside aromas of mint, thyme, flowers and some remembrances of dry fruit and spices. A very elegant rosé Cava from Agustí Torelló Mata this is.
Creamy and savoury, this varietal Trepat has a linear passage and a great freshness. Complex notes of lees, white pepper, red cranberries, pastry and aromatic herbs. Well-integrated, tiny bubbles and a very good acidity. This rosé Cava has a long, delicately bitter finish.
