This organic Spanish white wine is produced by the Alta Alella winery.
The wine Alta Alella Pansa Blanca is a single varietal Pansa Blanca, a mutation of the well-known Xarel.lo grape from Penedès. The grapes are grown in a kind of soil named sauló, composed mainly of sand produced through degradation of granite. The vineyards are very near the Mediterranean sea, on the coastal line of Barcelona.
Belonging to the Alella DO, the organically farmed grapes were cold-macerated and gently pressed. Then, the free-run juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Drink Alta Alella Pansa Blanca 2017 during the next 18 months. The bottle comes with a screw cap.
The white wine Alta Alella Pansa Blanca has a pale yellow colour with some grey tinges.
This single varietal Pansa Blanca from Alella is lively and pristine. Notes of green apples, flowers, fennel, yellow fruit and some mineral and salty undertones.
This yummy dry white wine by the Alta Alella winery is slim, linear, smooth. Lime and lemon, with a dash of aromatic herbs, hints of white flowers and a salty note. Crisp acidity and mild finish.

Contrary to many people, I can't stand tropical whites. This is just the opposite. Edgy, steely, no BS!!
This is super fresh, sharp and mineral. Well crafted and very pure.
