This single varietal of the prestigious Bodega Artadi got a score of 94 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
Following our usual procedure, since the enterwine staff has not tasted this Spanish red wine, we will not provide a tasting note of it.
However, we can provide a description of Artadi Pagos Viejos 2006 according the information submitted by the winery.
The grapes were harvested by hand, carefully vinified in oak vats and aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
After that, Artadi Pagos Viejos 2006 was aged for a further years in the cellar before its release onto the market.
It is foreseeable that this old-vines Tempranillo from Rioja will have a long and happy life in the bottle.
