The entry-level Spanish red wine of Vinyes Domènech is made from local and international varieties.
Fermented for 15 days at a temperature of 28ºC, Bancal del Bosc 2017 was then aged for 6 months in French and American oak barrels.
Drink this red wine from Montsant until 2023.
The red wine Bancal del Bosc has a clean, bright, medium-high cherry-coloured robe with a violet rim.
This gentle red wine by Vinyes Domènech exhibits notes of wild red berries, some balsamic hints and some delicately oaky notes over a background of Mediterranean undergrowth and aromatic herbs.
Savoury and meaty, this red wine from Montsant offers flavours of ripe red fruit, vanilla, balsam and liquorice. Tannins are sweet and ripe. Long finish with remembrances of resin wood and dry undergrowth.
|Our personal opinion||
A great introduction to the DO Montsant, Bancal del Bosc 2017 is fresh and approachable, neither banal nor excessively complex.

This wine which has been consistently upgraded and fine-tuned over the last years. I remembered it as somewhat sketchy, but the last vintages I have enjoyed very much. Ever more defined and precise.
A good red wine for any time.
