Made from Verdejo, Castilla y León's most important white variety, Belondrade Quinta Apolonia is a young Spanish white wine made following a careful process.
Harvested at the optimal ripening time, during the month of September, the grapes were carefully selected prior to vinification.
Then this white wine from Castilla y León was made blending two wines. Approximately one third of the whole came from the top wine of the winery, the famed Belondrade y Lurton.
The remnant two thirds were produced from the youngest vineyards of the Belondrade winery, about 10 years of age.
Those two thirds were fermented in stainless steel tanks, while the remaining third was fermented in French oak barrels. Both were aged on its lees for three months.
Production of this Verdejo white wine was of 50,000 bottles.
Drink Belondrade Quinta Apolonia 2017 until 2023.
The white wine Belondrade Quinta Apolonia has a clean, bright, straw yellow colour with some greenish glints and some golden tinges.
This white wine made from Verdejo shows some fragrant notes of white fruit, freshly cut grass, citrus, lime rind, dry fruit, fennel, toast and fresh hay. A delightful white wine partially aged in oak.
Fresh and fruity, showing a remarkable acidity and an unctuous body. This white wine by Bodegas Belondrade is very smooth, with the herbal component showing more prominence on the palate, complemented by remembrances of citrus and spices. Quinta Apolonia has a long, deliciously bitter finish.

Delicate Verdejo, smooth and caressing on the palate. Great buy!
A delicacy. Extremely genteel, with a tart tip. Monsieur Belondrade knows his stuff.
