This is the first white wine produced by Bosque de Matasnos.
It is made from grapes coming from a single estate located at an altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Then Blanco de Matasnos 2015 was aged for 6 months in 500-litre oak barrels.
Drink until 2021.
Bright yellow colour with some greenish glints.
Notes of white fruit and yellow fruit, some tropical nuances, white flowers and remembrances of aniseed and fennel.
Smooth and savoury, with some spicy notions, good freshness, remembrances of pears, peaches and pineapple, and a long, creamy finish.
|Our personal opinion||
Blanco de Matasnos 2015 is fresh and seductive. An uncommon white wine.

I was curious to taste a white wine from Ribera del Duero, because it is some kind of a rarity. Well, this is simply sensational, and the unlikely blend is perfectly adjusted. Give it 2 o 3 years and it will reach its peak!!
