Produced by Cara Nord, this Spanish white wine comes from vineyards planted at an altitude of 800 metres, in soils composed of slate and pebble stones. The winery practices an uncompromising high-altitude agriculture, following minimal intervention, environmentally friendly practices.
Manually harvested, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks, and Cara Nord Blanc 2017 aged for 3 months on lees prior to its bottling.
Drink this white wine from Conca de Barberà until 2022. The Cara Nord winery, by the way, is a joint effort of the Catalan winemaker Tomàs Cusiné and the American importer Eric Solomon.
This Spanish white wine Cara Nord Blanc has a very clean, bright, pale yellow colour with steely tinges and greenish glints.
Notes of Granny Smith apple, white flowers and underbrush, nuanced by remembrances of plums, limes, pineapple and passion fruit. This high-altitude white wine by Cara Nord Celler also suggests some delicate mineral undertones and a dash of white pepper.
This white blend made from mountain vines in the DO Conca de Barberà has a bold entrance onto the palate and a lush texture. Fresh notes of citrus, flowers and ripe white fruit, with some mineral and salty notions, plus a very good acidity and a medium, slightly bitter finish.

Eric Solomon knows where to produce great wine. This is sharp and clean, with a peppery note.
High-quality white wine. Nice and fresh, it has a solid body and a good structure, so it is not a summer-only wine.
