The grapevines are in Finca Legardeta, north of Navarra. The grapes of this Spanish red wine was harvested by hand and, once in the facilities of Bodegas Julián Chivite they were selected twice and destemmed.
Then they were fermented with the skins for 12 hours to gently colour the must. After that, both wine musts were drawn off and transferred into French oak barrels, where Chivite Colección 125 Rosado 2016 was fermented and aged for 10 months on lees.
Finally, this rosé wine from Navarra was bottled and aged for a few months before its release.
Visually attractive, Chivite Colección 125 has a beautiful rosy colour with some salmon-coloured tinges.
Intense aromas, suggestive and very fresh. This Crianza rosé wine carries loads of exultantly pure red berries, alongside with sloe, aromatic herbs and flowers. The oak ageing of this blend of Tempranillo and Grenache shows in some spicy and toasted hints.
The entrance is bold and intense, with a yummy passage. Fruit-driven, with tips of citrus, lively toasted notes and a smokey touch. This rosé by Chivite has an excellent acidity with a fruity and gently spicy finish.

An really nice rosé, it has volume, complexity and elegance. Pair Chivite Colección 125 Rosado 2016 with substantial dishes.
