Details

All of the wines that form the "Colección 125" of Bodegas Chivite are rare and exclusive. These are limited-editions wines conceived to express terroir at its purest form

Chivite Colección 125 Vendimia Tardía 2008 is sweet white wine made from Moscatel de Grano Menudo ("Muscat Blanc à petits grains") coming from vines planted in 1969 at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level.

Soils of that area belonging to the Navarra DO are composed of limestone and climate is Mediterranean with some Continental influences.

Harvested by hand when the grapes had reached the "noble rot" state, they were meticulously vinified, fermented and aged in new French oak barrels for over a period of 5 months.

Only 12,000 bottles of this wine were produced.

Drink now until 2018.
