It is made from vineyards located at altitudes between 500 and 700 metres in the Cariñena DO.
Produced by Grandes Vinos y Viñedos, the grapes were traditionally vinified in stainless steel tanks.
Then the wine was aged in 70% French and 30% American oak barrels for 14 months.
Finally, this Corona de Aragón with the golden label was bottled.
Drink until 2020.
Intense cherry colour with a garnet rim.
Red fruit, aromatic herbs, balsam, flowers and some creamy and toasted nuances.
Smooth-textured and savoury. Dim toasted nuances, some mineral suggestions, good acidity and ripe tannins. Long finish.
