A classic among classics, Cune Reserva is a Spanish red wine from La Rioja crafted by one the oldest and most prestigious wineries of the region: the Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España, better known as CVNE or Cune, established in 1879 in the town of Haro, La Rioja's wine capital.
After a meticulous selection process, the grapes were destemmed and cold-soaked for 10 days in stainless steel tanks.
After finishing alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, the wine was put into French and American oak barrels and aged for 18 months. Gently clarified, this reserve red wine from La Rioja was bottled and aged for a minimum of 12 months before its commercial release.
Always a wise buy, you should drink Cune Reserva 2015. Drink this red wine from Rioja from now to 2023. Decant 30 minutes before drinking.
The red wine Cune Reserva has a nice claret colour with some mahoganny tinges.
This Reserve red wine has a very typical Rioja nose. Aromas of red berries, along with spicy aromas of vanilla, toffee and coco coming from the wood ageing.
Smooth and well balanced, this red wine by Bodega CVNE has a great structure, silky tannins with lively ripe black fruit and fresh liquorice. We also find some balsamic remembrances and earthy overtones of tobacco leaves and wet undergrowth. This classic Rioja wine has a long finish.

An old pal from La Rioja that always meet the mark.
Spices, red fruit, a touch of smoke and herbs. Elegant, medium-bodied, joyful. An excellent wine.
