The 40-year-old grapevines are planted in sandy soils covered with pebble stones.
The grapes of this Spanish white wine produced by the Adega Valmiñor winery were meticulously harvested and selected both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
Separately vinified, each variety was cold-soaked for 6 to 8 hours, drawn off and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The Albariño and the Loureiro wines were also aged on its lees in those same tanks.
Then this Galician white wine was blended and further aged for 60 days in the cellar prior to its commercial release.
Drink Davila 2017 over the next 2 years.
The white wine Davila has a clean lemon colour with some steely tinges.
The blend of Albariño, Loureiro & Treixadura results in a remarkable complexity. Fresh notes of white flowers, freshly cut grass, pineapple and passion fruit, along with some citrus and mineral nuances.
Velvety-bodied and fresh, this white wine from Rías Baixas suggests notions of tropical fruit, aromatic herbs and a salty touch. Delicate and focused, with a good acidity and a medium finish with remembrances of white fruit and flowers.
|Our personal opinion||
Fresh and fruity, Davila 2017 by Adega Valmiñor pairs very well with seafood recipes.

Galician white wines are among my favourites. At this price, this is simply unbeatable. Puts to shame 75% French whites.
