In their search for the most representative Spanish terroirs, the Cusiné Family decided to create the Dominio Romano winery at the very heart of Ribera del Duero.

They are also the owners of Parés Baltà and Gratavinum, two companies located, respectively, in Penedès and Priorat.

In their quest for authenticity, Dominio Romano marks a significant step forward.

This organic Spanish red wine is a single varietal Tinta Fina made from over 30-year-old vineyards.

The grapes come from some of the best plots in Ribera del Duero.

Meticulously harvested and traditionally vinified, the wine was aged for 12 months in 2nd year French and Hungarian oak barrels.

Decant Dominio Romano 2015 1 hour before drinking.

Drink this red wine from Ribera del Duero from now until 2025.

Additional Information

The organic red wine Dominio Romano has a clean, bright maroon colour with a violet rim.

True-to-terroir, this organic Tinta Fina (Tempranillo) from Ribera del Duero smells of pure mulberries and blackberries, nuanced by hints of redcurrants and subtle remembrances of balsam, menthol, spices, violets and aromatic herbs. On the background, some mineral and earthy suggestions.

Fresh and complex, with a well-defined, fat-free structure and plenty of room for growth. Spices, blue flowers, wild berries, lavender, undergrowth and mineral. This organic red wine by the Dominio Romano winery has some velvety tannins, a crisp, uplifting acidity and a long, enticing finish.

  1. Romano review by Sakamura Yushio on 4/16/2018

A serious wine indeed. Excellent, crunchy fruit. The wine has plenty of thrust and never loses momentum. Deep, with great potential for evolution.
