More specifically, the grapes come from ungrafted vines planted in volcanic soils in Lanzarote, amidst a landscape of lunar, otherworldly beauty.
Harvested by hand following traditional procedures, once in the cellar the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
After that, this Malvasía white wine wine was aged on its lees in order to enhance its creaminess and roundness.
Finally, El Grifo Malvasía Seco Colección 2018 from Lanzarote was gently filtered and clarified.
The Spanish white wine El Grifo Malvasía Seco has a very bright, clean, pale yellow colour with some greenish glints and some steely tinges.
This original white wine made from Malvasía has a unique character. Aromas of pineapple, passion fruit, lime and white flowers, punctuated by remembrances of aromatic herbs. El Grifo Malvasía Colección also suggests some intriguing mineral undertones and hints of volcanic earth.
Harmonious and very refreshing. This white wine from Bodega El Grifo brings to the mind remembrances of mint, honey, white fruit, bitter herbs, and some mineral intimations. Great tension and focus, crisp acidity, and long, refreshing finish.
|Our personal opinion||
Nothing less than a Malvasia made from ungrafted vines grown in volcanic soils, El Grifo Malvasía Seco Colección 2018 will pair excellently with fish dishes.

When in Lanzarote, drink Lanzarote wine. I enjoyed it very much and, back home, I ordered some cases right away.
Lanzarote's most representative wine. Incredible aromas of pumice stone and volcanic earth, with a smooth body and a delicious ending.
