Red Wine 12 Lunas 2018

Harvested at an optimal ripening point, each of the varieties of this red wine from Somontano were vinified separately in stainless steel tanks under strict temperature control.
Afterwards, the different wine musts were fermented, macerated with the skins and put into 2nd and 3rd year 225-litre French oak barrels. After that, 12 Lunas 2018 was aged for 9 months, blended and filtered through gravity before bottling.
A nice Crianza red wine, it pairs excellently with rice dishes and meat recipes.
The red wine 12 Lunas is bright cherry with a garnet rim.
Fresh and expressive, this red wine from Somontano shows prominent notes of red berries and liquor-infused fruit. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Grenache and Syrah also insinuates vanilla, clove and cardamom, with some menthol and balsam remembrances.
The wine enters gently, almost shyly on the palate. This wine of El Grillo y la Luna has a medium body with velvety tannins and an elegant acidity that makes it extremely drinkable and pleasant. Liquorice, plums, toast and dry earth. Medium finish with some mineral and spicy remembrances.
