The grapes were meticulously harvested and selected. Using only from the "free-run" juice, this organic white wine was fermented in American and French oak barrels, 15% new.
After that, Agaliu 2019 from Costers del Segre was aged on its lees for 4 months with periodic strirrings.
Packaged with a characteristic blue bottle, this white wine fermented and aged in oak is produced near the beautiful Vallbona de les Monges monastery, in the very heart of the so-called Cistercian Route in southern Catalonia. An oasis of tranquility that really deserves a trip.
The white wine Agaliu is bright yellow with some greenish glints.
This varietal Macabeo suggests aromas of citrus, white flowers, dry fruit, some smokey hints and some mineral remembrances.
Dry and fresh, this white wine of L'Olivera Cooperativa is smooth-bodied, with an excellent acidity and a long, gently mineral finish with remembrances of bitter herbs, pears and aniseed.
