White Wine Albariño de Fefiñanes 2019
Availability: In stock
The harvest of this Spanish white wine began in the second half of September. After a meticulous selection, the grapes were destemmed and cold-soaked for 12 hours to extract colour and flavour. Then the grapes were gently crushed and the grape juice was fermented for 20 days at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks.
Before its bottling, Albariño de Fefiñanes 2019 was aged on its lees for 3 months to give it roundness and mellowness.
This varietal Albariño white wine is a very fine example of one of Spain's most important white varieties.
The wine Albariño de Fefiñanes has a pale straw colour with some greenish tinges.
This varietal Albariño from Rías Baixas shows some typical, clean aromas of fresh herbs, along with ripe white fuit, subtle citrus nuances and floral notes.
Clean and crisp, this young white wine by the Palacio de Fefiñanes winery is also fresh and zippy. Notes of white fruit, aromatic herbs, citrus and dim remembrances of flowers. Rock-solid acidity, some salty notes and a dash of herbal and mineral touches. Long, refreshing finish.
|Our personal opinion||
A great expression of the Albariño grape, Albariño de Fefiñanes 2019 pairs well with tapas, fish, shrimp and Oriental cuisine.
