White Wine Albet i Noya 3 Macabeus 2019

A single varietal Macabeo, it is made from grapevines around 60 years of age planted in clayey-limestone, magnesium-rich soils scattered across three different plots: El Pou de la Pedra, La Casilla and Les Tuies.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were selected in the vineyard. Once in the cellar, they were cold-soaked and separately vinified.
Then this organic white wine from Penedès was fermented in stainless steel tanks, after which it was cold-stabilized and gently filtered.
Finally, Albet i Noya 3 Macabeus 2019 was bottled with a screw cap.
The white wine Albet i Noya 3 Macabeus has a bright, clean, pale yellow colour.
Juicy notes of white fruit, combined with subtle notes of balsam, white flowers and aniseed. As this Macabeo white wine opens, the aromas of citrus and dry fruit gain prominence.
Fresh and savoury, this 3 Macabeus by Albet i Noya is linear and very pure. White fruit, some flowery notions, remembrances of almonds and hazelnuts, and dim undertones of fennel and dry earth. This organic white wine has a very good acidity and a medium, lively finish with remembrances of citrus.

An excellent value, Albet i Noya 3 Macabeus 2019 pairs excellently with rice, pasta, appetizers and fish dishes.
