The excellently priced Albet i Noya Efecte Brut Reserva is a Clàssic Penedès Spanish sparkling wine made from a blend of Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada, complemented with a droplet of Chardonnay.
It is produced by the Albet i Noya winery from estate-owned, organically certified grapevines aged 25 located in Costers de l'Ordal, Penedès.
Harvested by hand and selected on site, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks, after which Albet i Noya Efecte Brut Reserva 2018 completed secondary fermentation in the bottle and was aged for 18 months. It was manually disgorged at the date printed on the back label.
Easygoing and savoury, Clàssic Penedès Brut Reserva is a very versatile sparkler.
