Product Description

Like its two elder brothers, Arindo is a varietal Verdejo wine crafted by Bodegas Shaya, a company owned by the prestigious Gil Family, one of Spain's most important wine dynasties.

This Spanish white wine comes from vines located west of Segovia, in the Rueda DO. The vines grow in sandy soils with pebble stones.

Harvested by hand and selected at the vineyard, the wine juice fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for over a period of 25 days. Finally, the wine Arindo 2016 was aged on its lees until its bottling.

Drink over the next 12 months.

Additional Information
Additional Information

Arindo has a pale yellow colour with some grey and greenish tinges.

This varietal Verdejo by Bodegas Shaya-Gil Family Estates is very clean and honest on the nose, showing hints of white flowers, ripe apricot, green apples and bananas. Elegant mineral undertones and remembrances of aromatic herbs.

The white wine Arindo from Rueda is fresh and crisp, with a medium body and an extremely nice acidity. Notes of flowers and sweet white fruit, along with herbal and mineral touches. Medium finish with some fruity remembrances.

Our personal opinion

Arindo 2016 is fresh and uncomplicated. It makes a very good pairing with seafood, tapas and light cheeses.
