A varietal Spanish white wine produced in Val do Salnés, in the DO Rías Baixas, Atalier Albariño is the result of the collaboration between world-class winemaker Raúl Pérez and his friend Rodrigo Méndez.
It is worth noting that the Albariño vines are grown in granitic soils, the best suited for that particular variety.
Picked by hand, meticulously selected and gently pressedn, the grapes were spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts in oak vats of different capacities. After that, Atalier Albariño 2019 was aged for a period of 12 months.
This varietal white wine from Rías Baixas will certainly improve in the bottle over the next years.
The production of this white wine of Raúl Pérez is very limited. Grab one while you can!
The white wine Atalier Albariño is bright yellow with some golden gleams.
A clean, transparent expression of the Albariño variety this is. Lime and lemon peel, with subtle mineral and salty remembrances and notes of white flowers, ripe peaches and menthol.
Crisp and linear, this wine of Raúl Pérez has a remarkable elegance and an Atlantic character. Well-structured and textured, it has a long, smooth finish with some bitter and salty remembrances.
