White Wine Aucalà Blanc 2019
White wine from Terra Alta. Varietal White Grenache aged for 6 months on lees.
Availability: In stock
Meticulously selected, once in the cellar the grapes were first gently whole-bunch pressed in an inert environment, after which they were drawn-off. Then this Spanish white wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks, and aged for 6 months on its own lees and on lees coming from previous vintages. After that, Aucalá Blanc 2019 was clarified and filtered before bottling.
We suggest that pairing this white wine aged on lees with fish recipes and creamy cheeses.
The white wine Aucalà Blanc is bright yellow with some greenish tinges.
Intense aromas of flowers and ripe white fruit, with hints of garrigue and underbrush. This varietal White Grenache some spicy and mineral remembrances, too.
Fresh and supple, this wine from Serra i Barceló has a good definition and an excellent acidity. Long finish with a gently bitter note.
