Details
This single varietal Spanish red wine comes from La Rioja Alavesa, and it is made from low-yielding, old Grenache grapevines.
Produced by Bodegas Baigorri, Baigorri Garnacha was manually harvested and meticulously selected in the cellar.
Vinification started with a brief maceration, followed by a long fermentation in stainless steel tanks with periodic punch-downs of the solid skin cap to foster the extraction of colour and tannin. Both processes were performed through gravity, using no pumps or mechanical devices.
Then this red wine from La Rioja was gently pressed and transferred into new French oak barrels, where it completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 14 months.
Drink this Crianza red wine from La Rioja until 2025.
