Red Wine Bancal del Bosc 2021
Availability: In stock
The 2021 vintage of Bancal del Bosc, the entry-level Spanish red wine from Celler Vinyes Domènech, has slightly changed its composition, which now includes only local varieties.
After fermenting for 20 days under controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, a portion of Bancal del Bosc 2021 was transferred into French oak barrels and aged for 6 months. After that, the wine was blended and bottled.
This savoury red wine from Montsant will be an excellent accompaniment for BBQ'd meat.
The red wine Bancal del Bosc is medium ruby with a violet rim.
This blend of Grenache, Hairy Grenache and Carignan brings aromas of wild red berries, some balsamic hints and some delicately oaky notes over a background of Mediterranean undergrowth and aromatic herbs.
This wine from Celler Vinyes Domènech is moreish, fresh and uncomplicated. Juicy ripe fruit with a pinch of balsam and liquorice. Smooth tannins and a long finish with remembrances of resin wood and dry undergrowth.
|Our personal opinion||A great introduction to the Montsant area, Bancal del Bosc 2021 is a no-nonsense red wine.|
