Product Description
Details

This is the new vintage of Barbazul Rosado, a varietal Syrah wine.

The production of this Spanish rosé wine was defined by a long maceration process. Thus, the wine must was kept in contact for a long time with the grape skins in order to extract colour and aromas.

This rosé wine was produced by Huerta de Albalá from vineyards located at altitudes between 100 and 200 metres of altitude, near the enchanting Andalusian city of Cádiz, not far from the sea.

Harvested by hand, the grapes were fermented for 12 days at a temperature of 12ºC. After that, Barbazul Rosado 2019 was bottled.

Appearance

The wine Barbazul Rosado has a clean, bright cherry colour with some violet tinges.

Nose

Intense, suggestive aromas of fresh red fruit, tropical fruit and spices, underscored by aromas of flowers. On the background, this Syrah rosé wine suggests hints of aromatic herbs and balsam.

Palate

Fresh, lively and drinkable, this young rosé wine by Huerta de Albalá shows notes of strawberry candies, aromatic herbs and spices. Lively acidity and medium finish.

Our personal opinion

A straightforward, unpretentious rosé, Barbazul Rosado 2019 is a seductive Syrah from sunny Andalusia.

One of my favourite Spanish rosés. Smells of roses and berries, and the palate is silky and fresh.
