Product Description

This is the new vintage of Basagoiti. This wine is produced by the Basagoiti winery, a brand of the Parxet Group.

Made from a classic blend of 80% Tempranillo, 15% Graciano and 5% Grenache, the grapes used to produce this Spanish red wine come from 20 to 25 year old vines grown in clay-limestone soils.

The different plots were mechanically harvested, and the grapes were brought to the cellar and carefully destemmed.

They were cold-soaked and then fermented in stainless steel tanks.

Finally, Basagoiti 2016 from Rioja was aged for 12 months in 2nd, 3rd and 4th year French oak barrels.

Drink this red wine from La Rioja untill 2023.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The red wine Basagoiti has a very bright, clean cherry colour with a garnet rim and some bluish tinges.

Quite straightforward, this Crianza red wine is reminiscent of black fruit, with a dash of vanilla, notes of toast, notions of underbrush and aromatic herbs and a touch of spices.

Smooth and pleasant, this crianza red wine by Bodegas Basagoiti has some ripe tannins and a refreshing acidity. Long finish, with a remembrance of strawberries and raspberries, plus a note of spices and toast.
