The "Vi de Vila" (Village Wine) Bellmunt Blanco was produced by the Mas d’en Gil winery from an interesting blend of White Grenache and Viognier. The vines were planted between 2000 and 2008 in sandstone and limestone soils near the town of Bellmunt del Priorat, in the southern part of DOQ Priorat.
Separately vinified, both grape varieties were macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After that, this Spanish white wine was blended and bottled. The wine saw no oak whatsoever.
Thus, what one should expect to find Bellmunt Blanco 2020 is a youthful expression of terroir with a lively, fruit-driven character.

Slim and fragrant
