Product Description

Blanc de Marges 2016 by L'Olivera winery is made from an original blend of Parellada, Xarel·lo and Malvasia, with a greater presence of the first.

Harvested by hand, each variety was separately vinified. Alcoholic fermentation took place in Hungarian oak barrels with weekly pump-overs, after which the wine spent 4 months ageing on its lees.

After that the wine was blended and stabilized in stainless steel tanks.

The name of this organic Spanish white wine, "Blanc de Marges", comes from the fact that the vineyards are located on side terraces bounded by small dry stone walls, known as "marges" in that agricultural area.

Fresh and elegant, the Blanc de Marges 2016 from Costers del Segre is a wine to be consumed over the next three years.

Like a Cava, but with no bubbles and flowery, delicately sweet twist. Delicate and captivating.
