The grapes were picked by hand, and each grape variety was separately vinified. Alcoholic fermentation of this Spanish white wine took place in Hungarian oak barrels with weekly pump-overs, after which the wine spent 4 months ageing on its lees.
After that, Blanc de Marges 2019 from Costers del Segre was blended and stabilized in stainless steel tanks.
The name of this organic white wine, "Blanc de Marges", comes from the fact that the vineyards are located on side terraces bounded by small dry stone walls, known as "marges" in that agricultural area.
The white wine Blanc de Marges is pale yellow with some greenish tinges.
This blend of Parellada, Xarel·lo and Malvasia has a subtle a nuanced character. Aromas of ripe white fruit, citrus, some hints of pastry and white flowers, and a light smokey touch.
Creamy and moreish, this white wine of Cooperativa L'Olivera has smooth texture and a lively acidity. Long finish with some smoky and spicy remebrances.
