The grapes were cold-macerated and then fermented in stainless steel tanks. After that, Blancher Obrac Gran Reserva Brut 2016 underwent secondary fermentation and was aged for more than 3 years in the bottle.
This is an old-style, artisan cava gran reserva brut.
The cava Blancher Obrac Gran Reserva Brut is yellow colored, with subtle golden glints.
This blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada and Pansa Blanca suggests notes of pastry, dry fruit, white fruit and citrus, combined with delicate ageng notes and hints of white flowers.
Creamy and smooth, this cava of Caves Blancher has a delicate texture and well-integrated bubbles. French patisserie, fine lees, citrus, almonds and jasmine. Lively acidity and long finish with some remembrances of dry fruit.
|Our personal opinion||
Fresh and creamy, Blancher Obrac Gran Reserva Brut 2016 pairs excellently with salmon, foie and creamy cheeses.
