A blend of 80% young and 20% old Verdejo vines belonging to the DO Rueda, Blanco Nieva Verdejo is produced by Bodegas Martúe.
Produced only from the "free-run" juice, after a meticulous harvest 30% of the grapes were cold-soaked to enhance the aromatic expression of the wine.
Alcoholic fermentation of this Spanish white wine took place in stainless steel tanks and lasted 23 days.
After that, Blanco Nieva Verdejo 2019 was aged on its lees for several weeks, and then the wine was clarified, filtered, and stabilized prior to its bottling.
This Verdejo from Rueda is fresh and moreish.
