The wine is made from 10 to 25-year-old vines grown under a harsh Continental climate. Meticulously harvested and vinified, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, this young red wine produced by the Borsao winery was clarified and cold-stabilized.
Robert Parker is a great admirer of the Borsao wines, and he famously defined a former vintage of this wine as "possibly the greatest dry red wine value in the world".
The label of Borsao Selección 2018 has been redesigned. Now it is much more attractive.
The wine Borsao Selección has an intense cherry colour with some violet tinges.
This red wine from Campo de Borja smells of ripe strawberries, combined with aromas of flowers, candies and aromatic herbs.
Fresh and smooth, Selección by Bodegas Borsao exhibits notes of red berries and undergrowth. Very good acidity, inconspicuous tannins and long, fruity finish.
