Product Description

A single varietal Tinta Fina (aka Tempranillo), Callejo Crianza is produced in the DO Ribera del Duero from organically farmed vines grown in sandy-limestone soils under a harsh climate.

Traditionally vinified, this Spanish red wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts, and after that one third of it completed malolactic fermentation in new oak barrels, and the rest in steel tanks.

Finally, Callejo Crianza 2015 was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Drink this red wine from Ribera del Duero by Félix Callejo until 2025.

Aerate 30 minutes before drinking.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The red wine Callejo Crianza has a very bright, clean crimson colour with a violet rim.

Expressive nuances of aromatic herbs, underbush and spices, combined with hints of blueberries, typical of a Tinta Fina (or Tempranillo) red wine, alongside nuances of vegetables, balsam and some mineral undertones.

Bold and palate-coating, this Crianza red wine by Félix Callejo exhibits a solid body and a refreshing, crisp acidity. Texture is velvety, and the wine displays nuances of liquorice, spices, menthol, black fruit, spices and mineral. Long, delicately smokey finish.
