Details
The product series Chivite Colección 125 from Bodegas Chivite is comprised of limited-edition wines with very special qualities. The following naturally sweet wine is one of the most interesting.
Made from Moscatel de Grano Menudo ("Muscat Blanc à petits grains"), the wine Chivite Colección 125 Vendimia Tardía (meaning "Late Harvest") is a single vineyard sweet white wine coming from vines grown in limestone soils. The vineyard, named Finca El Candelero, is located at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level.
Harvested by hand from October to December, when the grapes had reached the "noble rot" state, this Spanish white wine from DO Navarra was meticulously vinified.
After that, the wine Chivite Vendimia Tardía 2020 was fermented and aged on lees in new French oak barrels for over a period of 9 months.
12,000 bottles produced.
