Made from old vines, Circe Verdejo is a young Spanish white wine crafted by the Bodegas Avelino Vegas winery in the DO Rueda.
A varietal Verdejo, this white wine from Rueda is made from vines grown in 1 to 3 hectare plots located in the province of Segovia.
Grapes were harvested by hand at their optimal ripening point, cold-soaked to foster the varietal expression of the grape and fermented at a controlled temperature. Finally, the wine was aged on its lees to get its distinctive, velvety texture.
