Rosé wine Claret d'Albera 2019
Availability: In stock
Interestingly, Claret d'Albera, produced the Martí Fabra winery, was made following a process which goes back to the XVIIth century.
Thus, the red grapes were macerated for 3 days and 2 nights, in order to obtain a gently colored wine must. After that, this claret from Empordà was fermented in concrete tanks and aged on lees for 9 months.
Pair Claret d'Albera 2019 with Chinese food, tapas and rice dishes.
The rosé wine Claret d'Albera has a nice, bright-red colour with some ruby tinges.
This blend of Tempranillo, Grenache and Carignan (known in the region as Ull de Llebre, Lledoner and Samsó) suggests intense aromas of redcurrants, blackberries and strawberries. There are also some hints of rose petals and dim mineral remembrances.
Fresh, berryish and spirited, Claret d'Albera has a good acidity and an agile passage through the palate. This young rosé wine from Martí Fabra has a medium-short, lively finish, with remembrances of citrus, licorice and herbs.
|Our personal opinion||
An amazing value, Claret d'Albera 2019 is a savoury, gulpable rosé that should be enjoyed cool, not chilled.
