The grapes were harvested by hand. After finishing alcoholic fermentation, this Spanish red wine was aged for 12 to 14 months in 225-litre French oak barrels.
Finally, Clos Petó 2019 was gently filtered before bottling.

Like all wines from Clos Dominic, this Priorat red wine has some serious ageing potential.
The red wine Clos Dominic Clos Petó is deep purple with a ruby rim.
This blend of Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Merlot is deep and seductive. Complex aromas of red berries, tobacco, vanilla, cocoa and vegetables, combined with some hints of balsam, toast and mint over a deep mineral background.
Bold and suggestive, this red wine from Clos Dominic has a remarkable complexity and a great freshness. Lively red and black fruit, some earthy and mineral hints and intimations of spices, flowers and undergrowth. Excellent acidity, mellow tannins and a long, smokey finish.
