Product Description

A blend of Grenache (65%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Syrah (15%), Clua Mile·lennium is produced by Celler Xavier Clua from three plots of vines with clay-limestone soils and located near Vilalba dels Arcs, a village belonging to the DO Terra Alta.

Traditionally vinified, this Spanish red wine was macerated for 25 days and fermented under controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Then Clua Mil·lennium 2017 was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Once bottled, this red wine from Terra Alta was aged for a further 12 months before being released onto the market.

Drink this Crianza red wine without food, or pair with cold cuts, cured cheese and meat recipes.

Aerate at least 40 minutes before drinking.

The red wine Clua Mil·lennium is brigh red with some maroon glints.


Earthy and terroir-driven, this blend of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah exhibits a surprising complexity. Plums, blackberries and dried herbs, with hints of smoke and grilled vegetables.


This wine of Celler Xavier Clua is surprisingly gentle and expressive, with fine-grained tannins and a zesty acidity. Long finish, with a mineral remembrance and notes of dried herbs and red berries.
