Red Wine Coto de Hayas Crianza 2017
Availability: In stock
Made principally from 40-year-old Grenache vineyards, complemented with a tiny amount of Tempranillo, selected from vines around 30 years of age, Coto de Hayas Crianza is a Spanish red wine produced by the Bodegas Aragonesas winery.
Belonging to the DO Campo de Borja, the vineyards are located at an altitude of 500 metres above sea level.
Harvested by hand and separately vinified according to its variety, after the completion of alcoholic fermentation the wine was aged in American and French oak barrels for 9 months.
Finally, Coto de Hayas Crianza 2017 was aged for some months in the bottle prior to its release.
The red wine Coto de Hayas Crianza has an intense, medium-low cherry-coloured robe with some violet glints.
This Crianza red wine made from Grenache and Tempranillo smells of wild berries and aromatic herbs, nuanced by some lactic touches and notes of vanilla, fine wood, menthol and balsam.
This red wine from Bodegas Aragonesas is smooth and medium-bodied, with an agile passage through the palate and a lively acidity. Notes of wild berries, toast, undergrowth and spices. Mild tannins and a medium, spicy finish.
