Red Wine Coto de Hayas Sólo Tirio Syrah 2019
Availability: In stock
This is the new vintage of Coto de Hayas Sólo Tirio Syrah. Made by Bodegas Aragonesas, the wine was formerly known as Coto de Hayas Sólo Syrah.
Harvested in late September, the grapes were first macerated for 8 to 10 days. Then a portion of them went through a demi-carbonic maceration process, while the rest were traditionally fermented.
After that, Coto de Hayas Sólo Tirio Syrah 2019 underwent malolactic fermentation. Finally, one third of the wine was aged for 2 months in oak barrels. Once bottled, it was aged for a brief period before hitting the market.
The wine Coto de Hayas Sólo Tirio Syrah is medium cherry with a violet rim.
Lively aromas, typical of a varietal Syrah. Black fruit and black pepper, a pinch of tapenade, and remembrances of tomato jam and spices.
This red wine from Campo de Borja is savoury and meaty. Very fresh, with good balance, a steely acidity and some lively, pleasantly rugged tannins. Medium-long finish with a toasted and floral note.
|Our personal opinion||
A great value, Coto de Hayas Sólo Tirio Syrah 2019 is quite versatile. Pair with pasta, meat and tapas.
