Product Description

This is the new vintage of Crápula White, the only Spanish white wine produced thus far by the Crápula Wines winery.

A single varietal Sauvignon Blanc, it comes a selection of low-yielding vineyards located at an altitude of 700 metres and planted in very poor limestone soils.

After a meticulous harvest, this wine by Gabriel Martínez Valero was destemmed and macerated for 10 hours at a low temperature. Then the grapes were pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks.

Finally, Crápula White 2019 from the DO Jumilla was clarified with egg whites and delicately filtered.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The wine Crápula White has a clean, bright, straw yellow colour with some greenish tinges.

This interesting white wine from Jumilla shows a typical Sauvignon Blanc character. Aromas of herbs and vegetables combine with aromas of tropical fruit, flowers, some dim mineral notes and, yes, the trademark "cat pee" remembrance.

Fresh, savoury and nimble, this Sauvignon Blanc produced by Crápula Wines leaves some intense remembrances of citrus and flowers. It has a good acidity and a long finish reminiscent of herbs.

Our personal opinion

Let's enjoy this Crápula White 2019 with shrimp, fish dishes or Paella. Three great pairings.

This is a rather good, characterful Sauvignon Blanc from southern Spain. Passion fruit, lime and fennel, with a mineral twist at the ending.
