Product Description

Davila M-100 2011, by the Adega Valmiñor winery, is a white wine made from a blend of Loureiro, Caíño Blanco and Albariño.

Produced in the Rías Baixas DO, the grapes were first selected in the vineyard, harvested and selected again in the cellar before being destemmed.

The Albariño grapes were fermented in 2,500-litre French oak barrels and subsequently aged on its lees for 3 months with periodic stirrings.

Once the process was completed, the Albariño wine was blended with the Caíño and the Loureiro wines, which were separately fermented in stainless steel tanks.

Afterwards, the wine was aged in stainless steel tanks for 3 months, and then for a further 6 months in the bottle.

Davila M-100 2011 shows the complexity and the ageing potential of the white wines from Rías Baixas.

Decant 30 minutes before drinking.

Drink until 2020+.

Additional Information
Additional Information

Pale, straw yellow colour with some greenish glints.

Aromas of tropical fruit, aromatic herbs, lemon rind, mandarine, dry fruit, and also some remembrances of Marseille soap.

Davila M-100 suggests flavours of ripe white fruit and lemon cream, along with notions of butter and honey, as well as remembrances of withered leaves and deep mineral undertones. Good acidity and long, delicately unctuous finish.

Our personal opinion

Davila M-100 2011 is truly a connoisseurs wine. It possesses a real complexity, so take your time to enjoy it.

Davila great wine
A world-class white. I'm sorry, baby, but that's the way it is.

Opened when it was 6 years old. Amazing - and still a baby!! Texture, definition, acidity... Everything.
