Details
Produced in world-famous Priorat, Vermut Dos Deus is made from a red wine base, macerated with a mixture of local aromatic herbs, such as ragweed, winter savory and gentian. The region of Tarragona, where Priorat is located, has been long recognized for the quality of its medicinal plants and aromatic herbs.
Caramel-coloured, this red vermouth is deep and complex on the nose. The palate is deep and savoury, with a very long, bitter finish.
Interestingly, this Spanish vermouth was aged in Sherry barrels using the soleras system. That fact gave Vermut Dos Deus a unique personality.
We suggest that you drink this vermouth from Priorat as an aperitif (on the rocks with an an orange twist.)
The vermouth Dos Deus Reserva Única won a Gold Medal in the 2021 edition of the Vinari Awards.
