Product Description
Details

Produced by Josep Grau Viticultor, Vespres Magnum comes from DO Montsant.

A blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Carignan and 10% Syrah, this Spanish red wine is made from old vines, 50 to 70 years of age, planted in the towns of Marçà, Capçanes and Falset.

Harvested in little boxes, the grapes were macerated and fermented in concrete tanks under controlled temperature.

After that, Vespres Magnum 2020 was aged in 2,000-litre Austrian oak vats for over a period of 14 months.

Decant this red wine from Montsant 30 minutes before drinking.

Mr. Josep Grau seems to be improving his wines year after year. He is always trying to bring freshness and drinkability to his wines, and until now he has clearly succeeded. This is a typical blend of the region, garnacha and carinena; what's not so typical is the suppleness and grace of the wine. And what a price!!
