Bodega Pago de Ina

Bodega Pago de Ina

A deep-rooted family winery from Ribera del Duero.

Located in Olivares del Duero, in the heart of the DO Ribera del Duero, the philosophy of Bodega Pago de Ina rests upon four pillars: enthusiastic attitude on the part of the people in charge, exacting winemaking standards, deep respect fot the natural environment and an appreciation for the rich history of the region.

The main facility of Bodega Pago de Ina was built in 2000, and it is surrounded by vineyards with clay-limestone soils. Farmed following low-intervention techniques in order to enhance terroir expression, they are planted mostly with Tempranillo. Besides, there is a small extension of the white varieties Verdejo and Gewürztraminer, which are used to produce Cesuras, the only white wine of the company.

Harvested by hand, the grapes are meticulously selected, destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Each plot is vinified separately. Once fermentation is completed, the wines of Bodega Pago de Ina are transferred into French oak barrels, where they are aged from a period of 6 to 15 months, depending on the wine. Once bottled, the wines from Ribera del Duero produced by Pago de Ina are further aged in the cellar before being released onto the market.
