Produced by Bodegas Exopto, the project of French winemaker Tom Puyabert in DOCa Rioja, his entry-level wine Bozeto de Exopto is aimed at consumers who are not used to drinking wine.
A blend of Grenache, Tempranillo and Graciano, this Spanish red wine is sourced from vineyards 30 to 80 years old, which were harvested in little boxes at their optimal ripening state.
As for the vinification process, this red wine from La Rioja was fermented in concrete vats and stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature, with a 7-day maceration.
After that, the wine Bozeto de Exopto 2022 was aged for 6 months in concrete tanks, oak vats and used oak barrels to preserve the freshness of the fruit.
Pair this young red wine with tapas and finger food.
