Details
A blend of 20% old and 80% 25-year-old Verdejo vineyards, Blanco Nieva Verdejo is produced by Viñedos de Nieva, the brand of Bodegas Martúe in DO Rueda.
Produced only from the free-run juice, after a meticulous harvest 30% of the grapes were cold-macerated to enhance the aromatic expression of the wine.
Alcoholic fermentation of this Spanish white wine took place in stainless steel tanks and lasted 23 days.
After that, Blanco Nieva Verdejo 2022 was aged on its lees for several weeks, and then the wine was clarified, filtered, and stabilized prior to its bottling.
This young white wine is fresh and moreish.

Good Verdejo
I like Verdejo whites very much, specially in the summer. That touch of bitterness I particularly love.
