Details
A varietal Pinot Noir, Freixenet Elyssia Pinot Noir Brut is produced from estate vinyeards located in Masquefa, Alt Penedès.
Once in the cellar, this Spanish sparkling wine from Freixenet was macerated for 5-6 hours to colour the must. This Cava was subsequently drawn-off, gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
This blended rosé Cava was then bottled to complete secondary fermentation. After that, Freixenet Elyssia Pinot Noir Brut was aged for a minimum of 10 months.
Finally, this rosé sparkling wine was added 9 grams of sugar per litre after the disgorgement.
