Whisky Penderyn Single Malt Welsh

Produced by the Penderyn distillery in the rural village of Penderyn, located in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Penderyn Single Malt Welsh is an appealing whisky from Wales.

Crafted using the traditional method, this single malt whisky was distilled in a unique copper single-pot still designed by Mr. David Faraday, the grandson of legendary Victorian scientist Sir Michael Faraday.

After the distillation, this Welsh whisky was aged in Bourbon barrels and finished in ex-Madeira casks, a combination which gives the whisky a truly unique profile.

Fresh and full of nuance, Penderyn Single Malt Welsh suggests aromas of toffee, raisins and tropical fruit, evolving into exotic spices, fine wood and tobacco. The palate is gently sweet and smooth, with tropical fruit, honey and candied citrus.

A recipient of numerous awards, this Madeira Finish Whisky from Wales won a Gold Medal at the 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021 Spirits Business World Whisky Masters competition.
