Details

The exquisite calvados Roger Groult 8 Años is produced from the cider that the Roger Groult distillery makes from its estate-grown apples in Pays d'Auge.

This Calvados was double-distilled over wood fire. Afterwards, it was aged for 8 years in old red French oak barrels.

The Calvadors Roger Groult Age 8 Ans has a golden amber colour.

On the nose, there are subtle hints of apples, cinnamon and vanilla over an elegant forest floor background, enlivened by hints of spices and toasted hazelnuts.

The palate is round, refined and very persistent. Roger Groult Calvados 8 Years is silky and extremely pleasing.

Interestingly, this Calvados by Roger Groult won a Gold Medal in the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2014.

My favourite liquor, as good and subtle as a great old wine.
